Maintain the softness, shine, and longevity of your virgin hair bundles with the right care routine. Follow these essential tips to keep your hair looking its absolute best.

1. Washing & Conditioning

• Detangle the hair gently with a wide-tooth comb or paddle brush before washing.

• Use a sulfate-free, moisturizing shampoo and lukewarm water to cleanse.

• Wash in a downward motion to prevent tangling.

• After shampooing, apply a moisturizing conditioner or deep conditioner.

• Let the conditioner sit for 10–15 minutes before rinsing thoroughly.

2. Drying

• Air drying is strongly recommended to maintain the natural texture and integrity of the hair.

• If using a blow dryer, apply a heat protectant and use the lowest heat setting with a diffuser attachment.

• Avoid sleeping on damp hair, as it can cause tangling or matting.

3. Styling

• Velluxa virgin hair can be straightened, curled, or styled as desired.

• Always use a heat protectant spray before applying heat tools.

• Avoid excessive heat to maintain the softness and quality of the hair.

• Use lightweight styling products to avoid buildup and heaviness.

4. Night Care

• Gently brush the hair and tie it into a loose braid or ponytail before bed.

• Use a satin or silk bonnet, scarf, or pillowcase to reduce friction and protect the hair overnight.

• Never sleep on wet or tangled hair.

5. General Tips

• Avoid heavy oils or alcohol-based products that can dry out or weigh down the hair.

• Deep condition every 1–2 weeks to keep the hair soft and manageable.

• Keep heat use to a minimum and allow the hair to rest between styles.

• If coloring or chemically treating the hair, we recommend having it done by a licensed professional to preserve the hair’s quality.
